The Capital Wine School is pleased to host a special Burgundy tasting and book signing with renowned wine critic and award-winning author, Jeannie Cho Lee.

The first Asian Master of Wine, Jeannie is considered by many to be Asia’s most respected authority on the subject. Awards for Jeannie’s books Asian Palate and Mastering Wine include the 2009 Gourmand award for Best Food and Wine Pairing Book in the world; the International Association of Culinary Professionals Award in “Wine, Beer, or Spirits”; and the Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin Award in “Wine and Gastronomy”. Jeannie is a Certified Wine Educator with the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and holds a master’s degree from Harvard University.

Jeannie’s latest book, The 100 Burgundy: Exceptional Wines to Build a Dream Cellar, has been praised by Steven Spurrier as “a roll-call of Burgundy’s greatest wines, described with effortless beauty by someone who understands them as true works of art.”
