This class provides a comprehensive exploration of common flaws and defects found in wine. You will learn to identify and understand issues like cork taint, oxidation, volatile acidity, etc. that can negatively affect the aroma, taste, and overall enjoyment of a wine. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or industry professional, this practical class will enhance your ability to recognize and address flaws and defects in a wine.

This class is in person at the Capital Wine School and is scheduled to run from 9:00am – 12:00pm, although participants who wish to spend additional time practicing identifying flaws and defects are welcome to stay until 1:00pm
