The Rhone Valley is one of the most prominent areas for red wine in France. Over 100 million gallons of wine are produced in the region annually, spanning the spectrum of quality from the inexpensive bistro fare of Côtes-du-Rhône to the powerful and emblematic wines of appellations like Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côte-Rôtie, and Hermitage. This class will feature both the Northern Rhone, dominated by Syrah, and Southern Rhone, based on Grenache blends. In addition, we will taste some of the the rare white wines of the region.

We will taste 10 wines from Appellations such as Cote-Rotie, St. Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Condrieu, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas and more.
