The tiny wine region of the Jura has gained unprecedented fame around the world in the past decade but is still much misunderstood. Wink will go back to basics, explaining how its fame has been achieved, and explaining the terroir, grape varieties and unusual winemaking styles from the Jura. This is a region which follows no patterns from elsewhere and today the producers who export are delivering superb quality with a wide range of wines, hugely versatile with food. The downside: there is never enough to go around. We will taste 8 wines.
