Unit D3: Wines of the World (21 weeks of guided study)
Understand how the growing environment, viticulture and winemaking options, wine law and
regulation and wine business influence the style, quality and price of the wines of the world. This
includes describing, explaining and evaluating the various options in relation to the key wines of the
world and how these influence the style, quality and price.
Before registering for Unit D3, you must have completed Unit D1 (formerly Unit #2). It is also recommended that you take Unit D2 (formerly Unit #1) prior to taking Unit D3.
Intended for distance students where regular class attendance is not possible. Includes online tuition, all online study materials, multiple feedback theory test questions and feedback tasting tests, a full day tasting tutorial at the Capital Wine School on May 2 (lunch not included), and the full 2-day final exam on May 13 & 14, 2020.

***The registration deadline for this course is October 20, 2019 and there are no refunds or rescheduling after this date. Requests for late registrations will be considered on a case by case basis and will incur a $50 late registration fee.
***The WSET does not permit candidates to enroll in concurrent online courses (courses with overlapping start or end dates).
