WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines Unit D3: Wines of the World Online & Live (wine samples included)

In this course you will learn how grape growing, winemaking, maturation, wine law and wine business influence the style, quality and price of the principal wines of the world, and you will learn how to taste and evaluate wines from around the world.

This course, which covers theory and tasting, will be taught on Cisco WebEx or Zoom on the following dates from 9:00am – 4:00pm each day:  January 16 & 17; February 6 & 7; February 27 & 28; March 13 & 14; April 17 & 18.

Practice exams will also be held on WebEx or Zoom on May 1 (Theory) 9:00am – 12:00pm and May 2 (Tasting) 9:00am – 11:30am.

The exam takes place over two days. Day #1(theory) is open-response/ essay questions given during two sessions taking 3 & ½ hours to complete. Day # 2 (tasting) consists of two 1 &1/2 hours sessions and is comprised of 12 wines tasted blind.

Wine samples will be available for curbside pickup at the Capital Wine School between 12pm – 5pm on the Friday prior to the each class weekend. Candidates who are unable to come to the school to pick up their wine samples may have their materials shipped to them for an additional shipping fee – please email info@capitalwineschool.com for more information.

Theory Exam begins at 11:00am on May 11, check-in begins at 10:30am
Tasting Exam begins at 10:30am on May 12, check-in begins at 10:00am
