WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines Unit D1: Wine Production EXAM ONLY (for re-sits)

$350 – WSET Diploma Unit D1 Exam Only 

This exam is for re-sit candidates only. Students who are sitting for the D1 exam for the first time are not eligible to register for this exam.

Registration Deadline

• Registration is required on or before October 5, 2025.

Eligibility

• Students who have not attended a Unit D1 Wine Production course may not sit for this exam.

• Enrollment in the WSET Diploma program is valid for three years.

  • Candidates who have not passed all six units by the end of their three-year term must re-register for another three-year term in order to continue.

  • If you are unsure when your term expires, please email info@capitalwineschool.com before registering.

Students from Other APPs (Providers)

• If you completed coursework with an APP other than the Capital Wine School:

  • You must request approval to register by emailing info@capitalwineschool.com before signing up.

  • Do not register until approval is received.

  • Unapproved registrations will be cancelled and refunded, minus a $35.00 administrative fee.

• If approved, a supplementary registration fee of $150.00 will be added to the exam registration fee.

Rescheduling Exams

• Students who register but cannot attend may request to defer to another scheduled exam.

• Please review the WSET Exams Rescheduling Deadlines & Fees document for deadlines and associated fees.

• Students will also receive an email reminder one week before the rescheduling deadline.
