The cost of the exam is included in our WSET Level 2 Certification Course, however you may choose to study on your own by purchasing the Home Study Course. Please note that the Home Study Course includes only the WSET study materials and the exam. The Capital Wine School does not offer an online option for study. Students who register for the Home Study Course will receive their materials via USPS Priority Mail. All materials are sent to the address provided in a student’s registration, unless the Capital Wine School is otherwise notified. The Capital Wine School does its best to mail materials within one week, but there are occasions when shipments are delayed.

Capital Wine School students who need to retake or reschedule the WSET Level 2 exam should purchase one of the Exam Only options. The exam only options are not available to students who have not done a course, either in class or home study, through the Capital Wine School.

The exam is 1 hour and consists of 50 multiple choice questions. Those who pass the exam receive the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits, an internationally recognized credential in the wine industry.
