Whiskey 101 with Marcia McColl Online

Join Marcia McColl for an online primer on whiskey. This fun introductory session will include the classification of whiskies, including bourbon, scotch whisky, and Irish whiskey. You will learn the ABC’s of bourbon, how to properly taste, and how to make 3 cocktails.

Included with the class registration is an e-mail invitation to join the class on Zoom or Cisco WebEx and a cocktail kit which you will pick up curbside by appointment on March 18 between 12pm – 5pm. The cocktail kit will include:

1 bottle of 200 ml Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
1 ounce bottle of Nardini Amaro Bitters, Italy
2 ounce bottle Quady Sweet Vermouth, CA
4 ounce jar of Fabbri 1905 Amarena Cherries in Syrup – Italy
1 Orange
4 ounce bottle of simple syrup made from India Tree Demerara Sugar
1 bottle (.187ml) Zardetto Prosecco Brut – Veneto, Italy

*You will need ice, spoon, and glassware.
