We’ll explore the region’s unique terroir, which produces exceptional Rieslings, sparklings, and other cool-climate styles, and delve into the rich history and innovation that characterize Finger Lakes viticulture. Through guided tastings and insightful discussions, you’ll learn about the nuances of the region’s wines and what sets them apart on the global stage. Additionally, we’ll share travel planning tips, including recommendations for the best wineries to visit, scenic routes, local dining options, and cultural attractions to ensure your Finger Lakes wine tour is both memorable and enriching.
Participants my choose to attend in person at the Capital Wine School or online via Zoom. Online participants may pick their samples up at the Capital Wine School between 12pm – 5pm on Thursday or Friday, July 25 or 26, or may request shipping for an additional fee.
Important: Any requests for shipping must be received at least 7 days prior to class, and all registrations for virtual attendance must be received by close of business the Monday prior to the class.
