Grown in volcanic soils on a Portuguese island off the coast of Africa, the wines of Madeira are arguably the most American of wines, with a history of being enjoyed in the American colonies long before the Revolution. This class will cover the past, present, and future of the island while demonstrating the incredible range and versatility of its wines. You’ll gain an appreciation for the various grape varieties and styles and also learn how to incorporate Madeira at the dinner table.

This class is taught on Zoom, with wine samples available for curbside pickup by appointment on Thursday, May 12 between 12pm – 5pm.
