Backroads of Portugal with Jay Youmans MW – In Person or Online

Portugal is home to more than 250 indigenous grape varieties, most of which can only be found in the backroads of this beautiful country. Jay Youmans MW will lead a tasting of wines made from the following grapes: Fernão Pires, Alvarinho, Arinto, Encruzado, Bastardo, Baga, Castelão, Touriga Nacional,  Tinta Barroca, Aragonês/Tinta Roriz,  Touriga Franca, and Jaen.

Participants my choose to attend in person at the Capital Wine School or online via Zoom. Online participants may pick their samples up at the Capital Wine School between 12pm – 5pm on February 16, or may request shipping for an additional fee.

Important: Any requests for shipping must be received at least 7 days prior to class, and all registrations for virtual attendance must be received by close of business the Monday prior to the class.
