At Capital Wine School, we believe that wine education should be a welcoming and respectful experience for all. We are committed to fostering a learning environment where students, instructors, and staff feel safe, valued, and free to engage in open and thoughtful discussions.
To uphold these values, we expect all members of our community-students, instructors, and staff-to adhere to the following principles:
Respect & Professionalism: We expect respectful dialogue in our classrooms, events, and online spaces. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Inclusivity: Our school welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and identities. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and expanding their knowledge.
Constructive Engagement: Conversations about wine may touch on history, culture, and personal experiences. We encourage thoughtful discussions and ask that all participants approach differing perspectives with curiosity and civility.
Social Media & Public Conduct: While we respect the right to personal expression, we expect that any public interactions related to Capital Wine School reflect our values of professionalism and respect.
Enforcement & Consequences
Capital Wine School reserves the right to take appropriate action if an individual’s behavior is inconsistent with these principles. This may include a warning, removal from a course or event, or, in severe cases, banning an individual from future participation.
