Registration deadline July 15, 2026.

Each year on August 1 the WSET releases two research assignment topics for the upcoming academic year, which runs August 1 – July 31: One topic is due in January of the academic year and one topic is due in July of the academic year.

Assignment Delivery

The staff of the Capital Wine School will contact registered candidates via email approximately 30 days before the assignment is due, with instructions for delivering their assignments 30 days before the assignment. Please note that while the WSET requires students to submit an electronic copy in PDF format, the Capital Wine School must receive a printed copy from each candidate. 

We will schedule a virtual seminar providing additional guidance once we’ve reached a minimum number of registrations. Registered candidates will be notified of the seminar date and time once it’s scheduled, and will receive a recording of the virtual seminar if they cannot attend live

The completed assignment must be received by the Capital Wine School no later than 5:00pm on Friday, July 30, 2026.
