WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines Unit D3: Wines of the World EXAM ONLY

WSET Diploma Unit D3 Wines of the World Exam Only
$750 for both sections; $495 for tasting only, $275 for theory only

Please note that registration is required on or before March 10, 2025. We will be unable to accept registrations, and no refunds or rescheduling will be available, after this date.

NOTE:  You must have taken the WSET Level 4 Diploma Unit D1 exam before registering for this, or any other, Diploma unit. If you previously sat and failed both portions of the Unit D3 exam, you must retake *both* sections during the same examination period.

This exam is intended for re-sits and deferrals only. In order to register for this exam, students must have taken a course for this unit with the Capital Wine School or with another WSET approved program provider.*

*Individuals who completed their coursework with an APP other than the Capital Wine School but who were unable to take their exam with the other APP – or who failed the exam and wish to retake the exam with the Capital Wine School – must request approval to register for this exam by emailing info@capitalwineschool.com. These students should not register for this exam until they have received approval from the Capital Wine School. Any unapproved registrations by individuals who did not take their coursework with the Capital Wine School will be cancelled and refunded minus a $35.00 administrative fee.

If approved to take the exam, a supplementary registration fee of $150.00 will be added to the exam registration fees noted for individuals who took their coursework with another APP.

Unit D3 covers the “Wines of the world”.

The Unit D3 exam has two parts: theory and tasting. In the tasting exam you will taste and assess 12 wines. The theory exam comprised of 5 essay questions related to material covered in the Unit D3 study curriculum.

The Theory exam will be held on May 13, 2025 and the Tasting exam will be held on May 14, 2025.
