Spain is a country with a long tradition of winemaking, and it is home to many different wine regions and grape varieties. Some of the most famous and popular Spanish wines include Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Cava, and Priorat, but there are a number of other regions producing lesser known but high quality (and often more affordable) wines: Rías Baixas, Bierzo, Txakolina, Rueda, Toro, and Jumilla.

We will explore the regions above with a tasting of 12 wines from around Spain. While this is the perfect class for beginniner students who would like a better understanding of the wines of Spain, we think our more experienced students will enjoy this class, too.

This class is taught on Zoom on Saturday, June 3 with wine samples available for curbside pickup by appointment on Friday, June 2 between 12pm – 5pm.
