Rosé from Around the World with Matt Perrella DipWSET – In Person or Online

While we might breifly evaluate the color of a red or white wine to give us a clue to its age, this step is often just a cursory prelude to the more fulfilling activities associated with the nose and the palate. Not so with rosé wines! The enchanting variety of hues, which run the gamut between soft, pale pinks and salmons, ethereal copper tones, and vibrant shades of coral and watermelon, often leaving us gazing upon the wine in the glass for far longer before we delve into its olfactory and gustatory delights.

While we believe that many rosé wines are great, food friendly wines all year round, there is something about spring that makes them almost compulsory, and we hope you’ll join us while spring is still in full-swing for this tasting of 12 rosé wines from around the world.

Participants my choose to attend in person at the Capital Wine School or online via Zoom. Online participants may pick their samples up at the Capital Wine School between 12pm – 5pm on May 17, or may request shipping for an additional fee.

Important: Any requests for shipping must be received at least 7 days prior to class, and all registrations for virtual attendance must be received by close of business the Monday prior to the class.
