WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines: Unit D6 Independent Research Assignment Topic #1 (AY 2024/2025)

Unit D6 Independent Research Assignment: $425 submission fee

Topic #1 Due: January 31, 2025

Registration is required on or before January 14, 2025.

Two topics for Academic Year 2024/2025 will announced by the WSET on August 1 ,2024 in the Diploma Student Resource area of the WSET Online Classroom. You must choose one of the topics and submit your paper on the relevant due date for that topic. The topics, and the instructions and forms for submitting the chosen topic, can be found in the WSET Global Campus Online Classroom Diploma Student Resource Area, to which all Diploma candidates should have access, but you may also view the topic here (link to topic will be available on August 2, 2024)

Assignment Delivery: The staff of the Capital Wine School will contact registered candidates via email with instructions for delivering their assignments 30 days before the assignment due date, or within three business days of registration if registering within 30 days of the assignment due date. Please note that we are unable to accept assignments via email – students must bring their assignments to the school or send them via courier service with tracking.

In this correspondence we will include copies of the required cover sheet as well as the assignment guidelines and submission procedures mentioned above. Please add emails with the suffix @capitalwineschool.com to your list of safe senders to ensure receipt to your email inbox.

An optional seminar providing guidance for candidates who are registered to submit their January 2025 assignment will taught by a Capital Wine School instructor via Zoom on September 10, 2024 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm (this date is subject to change).

Candidates who register to submit the assignment after the live Zoom seminar will be provided with a recording of the seminar.

The completed assignment must be received by the Capital Wine School no later than 5:00pm on Friday, January 31, 2025.
