Join us for a journey to the captivating country of South Africa for an incredible evening in which we will taste through some of the most famous wines being made there today.

South African wines are renowned for their diversity and unparalleled quality. From the lush valleys of Stellenbosch to the rugged terrain of Swartland, discover the unique terroirs that shape each glass of South African wine.

We will delve into South Africa’s famous grape varieties, including the bold and expressive Pinotage, the elegant Chenin Blanc, and the versatile Cabernet Sauvignon.  We will explore the rich history and winemaking heritage of the region through tasting iconic wines from producers such as Kanonkop, Hamilton Russell, Mullineux and Sadie Family.


Participants my choose to attend in person at the Capital Wine School or online via Zoom. Online participants may pick their samples up at the Capital Wine School between 12pm – 5pm on May 9, or may request shipping for an additional fee.

Important: Any requests for shipping must be received at least 7 days prior to class, and all registrations for virtual attendance must be received by close of business the Monday prior to the class.
