Often misunderstood, Riesling is one of the most transparent grapes in the world, vividly reflecting its terroir and winemaking choices. From racy, dry bottlings to deeply concentrated sweet wines, Riesling showcases a breathtaking range of styles and expressions. In this class, we’ll taste examples from Germany, Alsace, Austria, the U.S., and beyond, examining how climate, soil, and sugar levels shape the wine in the glass. Whether you love minerality, aromatics, or complexity, you’ll walk away with a new appreciation for this noble white grape.
