His goal was to offer the highest quality in wine education all while keeping the atmosphere light and fun. Our wine school motto is “Seriously fun wine education.” All of our courses place an emphasis on tasting skills and the knowledge needed for understanding wine while enjoying the experience along the way.
What Courses Are Available At The Capital Wine School?
We offer our wine education courses to residents in the DC, Maryland, Richmond, and North Virginia area. We offer three different tiers of wine education courses:

- Society of Wine Educators’ CSW
Some of our WSET, (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) classes are also available online. You can either choose to be certified by tasting wine from the comfort of your own home with online classes or sign up with some of your friends and take the wine education courses from our conveniently located school at 5207 Wisconsin Ave. Washington, DC 20015. We have students come from all over the DC, North VA, Richmond, and Maryland areas to take our classes and have a great time doing so.
