NOTE: You must have taken the WSET Level 4 Diploma Unit D1 (formerly Unit #2) exam before registering for this, or any other, Diploma unit. If you previously sat and failed both portions of the Unit 3 exam, you must retake *both* sections during the same examination period.
This exam is intended for re-sits and deferrals only. In order to register for this exam, students must have taken a course for this unit with the Capital Wine School or with another WSET approved program provider.
Unit D3 (formerly Unit #3) covers the “Light wines of the world”.
The Unit D3 exam has two parts: theory and tasting. In the tasting exam you will taste and assess 12 wines. The theory exam comprised of 5 essay questions related to material covered in the Unit D3 study curriculum.
Theory Exam is on May 13 from 11:00am – 3:20pm (there will be a 1 hour break from 1-2pm). Check-in begins at 10:30am.
Tasting Exam is on May 14 from 10:30am – 2:30pm (there will be a 1 hour break from 12pm-1pm). Check in begins at 10:00am.
