This course is designed to convincingly show that all wine is not the same. At the end of this class you will have experienced a wide spectrum of wine aromas and flavors and be able to link these traits to specific wines. We will highlight the differences in wine varietals and establish preferences all without excessive contemplation and examination.

Many consumers think wine is just wine. You may know that the Inuit, indigenous people of Greenland, Alaska and northern Canada, have 50 or more words for snow. Enjoy a 90-minute class designed to prove that there are more than 50 words for wine and thousands of different grapes from which to make it.  This class is offered to couples and individuals who are curious about the hype yet skeptical about the enthusiasm. If you know such a  person, invite them to this experience.

This class is in person only at the Capital Wine School. Please note that the building in which we are located does not have an elevator, and there are several sets of stairs to navigate to get to our classrooms on the second floor.

To ensure a quality experience for all participants, each class or course requires a minimum number of registrations. If this minimum is not met, we may need to cancel the session. In such cases, registered students will be notified as soon as possible and provided with options for rescheduling or a full refund.

By purchasing your ticket(s), you agree to our payment, refund, cancellation, and reschedule policy.
