Blind Comparative Tasting of Chenin Blanc

The tasting will include 12 Chenin Blancs including wines from Vouvray, Anjou, Quarts de Chaume, Jasneres, Savennieres, and Bonnezeaux in the Loire Valley, France. We will explore the range of Chenin Blancs found in South Africa, Australia, California, and more. We will discuss how these wines differ in terms of aromatics, residual sugar, alcohol, acidity, flavor, the use of oak, and maturation.
