WSET Level 4 Diploma, Unit #3: Light Wines of the World

16 class series plus exam, $2,599


This 16-class course will be held at Capital Wine School on  the following dates: August 16, August 23, August 30, September 6, September 13, September 20, September 27, October 4, October 11, October 18, October 25, November 1, November 8, November 15, November 29, and December 6 with a practice exam on December 13 and the WSET exam at 10:00 a.m. on January 10, 2017. Each class meets from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

REGISTER ON OR BEFORE JULY 25 TO ENSURE THAT YOU RECEIVE YOUR MATERIALS AT THE FIRST CLASS. THOSE WHO REGISTER ON OR AFTER JULY 26 MAY NOT RECEIVE THEIR MATERIALS UNTIL THE SECOND CLASS MEETING.

WSET Level 4 Diploma, Unit #3: Light Wines of the World is usually taught over sixteen sessions. The Unit #3 exam has two parts: theory and tasting. The tasting exam runs from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and students will taste and assess 12 wines. The theory exam runs from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., and it is comprised of 5 essay questions related to material covered in the Unit # 3 study guide.  You must have taken the WSET Level 4 Diploma, Unit #2 exam before registering for this, or any other, Diploma unit.

The course fee includes the 16 classes at Capital Wine School, the practice exam at Capital Wine School, WSET Level 4 Diploma Unit #3 study materials, and the exam on January 10, 2017 at the Capital Wine School.

This course will be offered at Capital Wine School on the following additional dates: TBD (will start in late Summer/early Fall 2017)


Please click here to register to retake or reschedule the WSET Level 4 Diploma Unit #3 Exam.  The exam will be at 10:00 a.m. on January 10, 2017 at Capital Wine School. (Effective December 16, 2015, Capital Wine School no longer offers Home Study for the WSET Diploma.)

**Please note that Capital Wine School only offers this course in the fall and the full exam only once per year, in January. Students who must take the January session of the exam include those who (1) are taking the exam for the first time; (2) need to retake both sections of the exam; or (3) need to retake only the tasting section of the exam. Students who need to retake only the theory section may do so in June.**
